Skype Lessons


Students must have a broadband internet connection, computer/laptop and a webcam. Anthem webcams are 1080p HD quality, so students will be able to see the instructor clearly and without interruption.



Skype lessons are scheduled based on time zones and student/instructor work schedules. Skype is used as the teaching interface and the instructor creates custom curriculum based on the student's goals and needs. All lessons are one-on-one.

AvailabilitY & SCHEDULING

Please email the school at with available days and times. Anthem School of Music is currently available for Skype lessons Monday through Saturday. Please include what you want to work on in the lessons: songs/genres of interest, techniques, music theory, etc...just as if the lessons were in person.


The Skype software and your webcam must be properly installed with functioning audio/video feed through high-speed internet. If you do not have Skype, their FREE software download is available through the following link:

Reserve a Time

Lessons are scheduled on a monthly cycle, typically the same date/time. Once a specific day and time is agreed on, payment is required to reserve the time slot. Anthem uses PayPal because it is a secure, trusted payment option. Payments can be made by clicking on the "MAKE A PAYMENT" icon at the bottom of the page, which will direct you to the PayPal server. Please complete payment requests within 24 hours. Renewal requests will be sent via email when one paid lesson is remaining. Lesson payments are valid for three months from the purchase date.

24-hour notice is required for cancellation. Missed lessons without proper notice of cancellation are charged. Anthem School of Music will be as flexible as possible with crediting missed lessons due to vacations or other emergency interruptions. Please keep in mind it is best to have weekly lessons to insure student progress. Excessive absences without respectful communication may lead to the termination of lessons.  

Lesson Preparation

Anthem will make sure we understand what the student wants the lessons to concentrate on. A written portion of the lesson will be prepared ahead of time and a PDF file will be emailed to the student prior to their lesson. The instructor will teach the material on camera and this is yours to keep.
